Have a check of your service book when they stamp the book it alway's has the phone number and address or possibly the reciept will be in the back of the service book.

I was in the same situation last week. I topped up with 10/40 but promised to get an oil change and filter done asap anyway.

Full oil change and filter I cheap as anyway so might be worth doing the same. Always nice to know it's running good clean oil.

i've just done an oil and filter change on mine.....

i used Halfords 5w40..... as good as anything, no need to pay more for oil than Halfords own brand

Although Halfords fully synth isn't actually a true fully synth, according to the oil man from Opie Oils on here

I paid around £40 for a good quality oil from a local motor factors, only about £5 more than the Halfrauds stuff

If that's true, surely that's false advertising on Halfords part?

I don't think it's false advertising, there is just different quality grades that can all get classed under the name 'fully synthetic' i guess?

I seem to remember something about the Halfords oil being 'hydrocracked'? I'm sure it's good enough but it's just not the best.

it's been discussed a lot of times before...
mobil 1, elf and all others that have 'fully synthetic' labels are actually hydrocracked or whatever is the frase.

Some of the REAL fully synth oils are Motul 300W, Selenia racing, Purple...something
