just bought a 172 but i have questions...

i dunno if it has wipers that come on automatically when it rains? if so how do i turn them on?

how do i reset the trip computer? cos its still showing the usage of the garage- miles used etc

i only got one key for it from the garage- how much would it cost to get another one? could i get a blank and get it programmed?

i know they may sound like stupid questions but im totally new to this 172 lark lol

to turn the auto wiper on you need to push the stalk up to the top and then pull it back down to the 1st setting.

To reset the trip computer you need to cycle through the options and then push in the black button on the speedometer, i think you have to do this twice, as once clears the trip counter and again to clear the others (miles left in tank etc)

Not sure about the key fob but I dont think they are cheap

To cycle through the options you need to press the button on the end of the LH stalk control.

Just get out and thrash it my boy.When the petrol light flashes stick 15 quid in and start again.
1 click down for auto wipers,but it must be raining first to activate the crystals in the top middle of your windscreen...
