It will spend most of the winter in the garage and I will use the the other half's Megane 3. I've driven several older cars without abs over the years... In the words of a certain former Top Gear presenter "how hard can it be?"

To be fair, in winter conditions (snow/ice) I find a car without ABS and TC far easier to drive, but I suspect that'll be because my first few cars were original Mini's, no choice other than to learn how to drive properly with one of them!
I know exactly what you mean - I think I've only driven one car with ABS so far (and none with TC) and it's most annoying!

My younger days consisted of driving many a car without abs, my favourite by far was a 1988 Citroen AX GT.
oh I will I can assure you of that. Working as a parts manager at my local Renault dealer means I have access to all genuine parts at cost prices. What I can't source from RUK I can locate on here or ebay using the O.E number from Dialogys.
