Just bought a Clio 1.4 RT for her indoors!

  1995 Renault Clio 1.4RT
Hello boys and girls my name is Greg and I just bought the missus her first car. She passed her test on friday so I got her the Clio yesterday. It needed a new back box, which cost me a tenner today from the scrappers. The rocker cover gasket was leaking and since discovered the top of the engine was full of gunk from old oil, I managed to do my best in scooping it all out but I don't know what, if any damage it might of done to the rest of the engine, it runs mint though. Finally a couple of part worn tyres so for the grand total of £45 I managed to fix all the little niggles on it today.

It reminds me of my first car which was a 1996 Cherry Red Citroen AX Dimension;) So I feel like a teenager again well I'm 25 now! lol, I remember the RT was a bit of a sporty little car so I had to try it, and so far so good, I think it will need an engine mount soon because when it accelerates the gear stick moves a little bit.but apart from that I'm very pleased with it. I personally a Honda man my own car is a 4WS Prelude, but the little Clio is a fun car to raz around in.

Here is the Clio

Thanks, Alan my car isnt a vtec lol, its the old skool B20a7 with twin inlets for ultimate pant wetting acceleration.... probably;) As for the Clio I'm looking for some new front fog lights as my DIY clean up attempt went smashing, literally lol. I have seen a set of standard alloys which look like wheels trims that are very basic looking I would quit elike a set of them but I don't know what they are called.
