just bought a shealth from gdi

after my exhaust falling off i had to take the plunge and order something!

gdi had ran out of their stealth system but have the janspeed stealths, which they say has a bit more rasp but subtle for normal driving.

should be here friday.


anyone else have one??

nope, I have a non stealth from the last batch and am really pleased with it. Mine's very quiet, the engine noise is much much louder lol

mine is the janspeed though not the gdi one.

andy said the janspeed was the only other one hes seen and was happy to use.

some people dont like the raspyness, but i heard an m3 giving it some and that was raspy as and sounded mint. My ktec stealth and sports cat has just arrived cant wait to fit it...

Knocking is probably the bolt on the clamp where back box joins centre section. Probably hitting off the rear beam.
Will just need the clamp turning round

janspeed only do one exhaust for the 172 its the same one that k-tec sell

its the same exhuast they supply to other customers too
you just got it cheaper at a guess?

spoke to andy earlier, he explained there is alot of adjustment in the exhaust, i'll have a play with it to move the clamps. its not helped that the car is on apex springs.
hes contacting david at k-tec from whom he got the exhaust from for a speedy delivery on my part as to whether anything can be done about the sound.

Ha!!!! My ktec one lasted a week!!!! So w**k sounding rrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssppppppppp!!!!! :dead: Truely awefull!!! Fitted well mind, lots of adjustment.
