just bought an rs tuner in need of a little help to get started

hi i have just bought an rs tuner! just looking for some help to make sure i am going to do it correctly! making sure i am instaling correct maps ect

Do a search mate, I did mine a couple of years ago and there were loads of info back then. Also a guide on fastchips website iirc.

I think you have to buy the maps now, but I have the 182 files from when I did mine, pm me your email and I'll send them to you

If you bought your RSTuner from fastchip then you get the stage 1 map free. Just email Henk with a screenshot from the rstuner program main screen as that has the infomation on what version your ECU is etc and he will send you the correct files

Depending on your software version and firmware, that could either go well or horribly wrong. Not all the 1*2's share the same ECU details. That's why buying new and following Henks instructions on getting the activation map is the best thing to do.
