just bought this strut brace?

not sure if this is the right section, sorry if it isnt

ive just won this strut brace and had a horrible feeling it wont fit the 172 i guessed the sport and non sport are the same strut braces, but the seller hasnt mentioned it.

any ideas?

Rears are the same, fronts can differ due to engine bay space.

If it's a rwear one I think they are all similar fit. If it's a front one it will need to be specific for a Renault Sport I think. I am sure that some expert will be able to advise you better.

i think they are different as the sport ones need to clear the top of the ecu.

Judging by the pics I would say that is not a Sport one . as he has ben buying 172 items I would also assume that he has a 172, bought this and found it doesn't fit so shoved it back on Ebay. Send him a mail asking to know which model Clio it is for. If it is not for a 172 you have every right to pull out of the transaction as he has not stated which model Clio it is for.

Sick how it costs £100 (K-Tec) for a bar of metal. Surly there's a fab on here that could make one just as good for less than £30?
