Just Fitted 205/45/16 On My Turninis (hmmm - Help)

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
Ive just fitted 205/45/16's on my anthracite turinis - however i cant help but think this is the wrong choice, there seems to be alot more roll in the car, alot more bouncy castle like - im running 32 front and 31 rear... should i be on any different ??

feels as tho the rear is'nt part of the car when i corner lightly - kind of side weinds, hmmm

tyres are michelins, unsure of the model tho - will check

so would it be ok to run say:
35 front
32 rear

or even 1 psi up on that ??

33/31 when they get to 30 cold in the front they handle poorly...they are very pressure sensitive. Get it right they are great.!

suspesion is just standard cup.

so 33/31 sounds good :) will fettle it now

was just abit worried about putting 205's on - i did not know if they were ok to go on, saw that craig on here has them, but then was wondering if he just put them on unknowing if they were to fit - as the usual tyres on the rims are 195

cheers

So your fitted tyres are 10mm wider than the rim? Can you do that, won't they just come off when you go round corners hard?

no..........but normally going wider to 205 u normally decrease them to 40.
but should nt make that much difference .

to be honest they should be fine. i would play with the pressure and see how you get on. in theory 205 should give you more grip.

They're totally fine 182's come with 205/45 tyres as standard whereas the 172 came with 195/45 both on the same rim diameter and width

cheers people,

just been scanning the site and noticed the spec on the 182 - this car has 205/45/16 - different rim, but the trophy rim is the same - so obviously my tyres cant be bad lol

gona have a play with the pressures
