Just Fitted Some H&R Suspension on 172.

I just uprated my suspension and the car handles sweeter than ever. The ride quality is great, not harsh over bumps/poor surfaces at all. And my car turns everyones heads now!

I havent dropped it as low as it will go, as there are too many speed bumps around town (I dont want to be scraping the underneath of my car now do I?).

The handling and the ride have improved loads. Better than that rubbish standard suspension! Also, when I get airborne now, it lands beautifully.

They are well keeewwwlll. :cool:

my point exactly, less than a dozen posts under his belt and totally unprovoked he feels the need to take the piss out of my car, from mike or ben or matt or any of the guys i know or are regulars on here fair enough but if you are new you dont go on a forum and take the piss out of someone you dont knows car

maybe you should slam it to the ground to impress ***~*** as its clearly what hes into, maybe you should go look at toms scraper.......maybe that woody will come back.

should have taken pics of it when you couldnt have fitted a rizla between the sill and the floor, as it is it didnt come off the ramp at work without assistance

mate , dont need to prove anything.......if it handles better with a mild drop, thats all that matters.

still, itll never be as good as a hog stonking 1.2......man those things RIP!

isnt a 172 lower than a std 1.2 by about 35mm in the first place? then by my calculations if my 172 with a 40mm drop will drive over bens can then yours should clear the house ;)

Youve driven a 1.2 16v aswell. Youre absolutly right, they do rip dont they. No-one else beleives me.

But, I also had a K&N air filter fitted to it, and now it is even quicker.

Na. The 172 has just got bigger wheels. Makes it look lower coz they fill the arches more.

I put sand-bags in my car when I am in a cruising mood, which lowers it just nicely. Handles much better with them in there because of the lower centre of gravity.

I know. I was mirror to mirror with a Cup in Cheltenham last week. I backed off at 140 though.

I agree with BenR, it is about the right height. It doesnt need to be slammed to the floor on a road car.
