not bad considering your NCB. only thing to be wary about is the fact they wont pay out if left in the driveway. as such you have to force the garage door when nobodies around lol :)

doesnt sound too bad, thats what im payin for my 1.4 dynamique! (im 18 tho)

think my post code must be a bad one for insurance cos i get higher quotes than rest of my mates!

i know, it was 1200 with elephant, but when i rang up n said i wanted to pay monthly instead of a lump sum they upped it to 1400. But as i said, my area seems to be alot dearer than others for sum reason

I'm payin 1100 through ma dad's business...Which i'm not too happy about...Won't allow any mods, and already i've got turini's and springs...Thats it, but still thats enough for them to void my policy...Tho i could argur i got the rims as an optional extra...

I honestly dont know what the hell i do to get quotes that are doubling these figures with the me being 22 1yrs NCB and cheapest i could find was £2500 and that was tpft! fully comp was just under £4k i know my postcode bumps it up but seriously thats crazy. That was on 172.

That was with me doing 8000 a year i actually do a fair bit more having it parked in secure underground parking under my apartment block. put it was for social domestic and commuting. my current car is a 1.6 C4 coupe (3 door version basically) only a group 6 and thats just under £2k a year for me.

Jesus christ mate! I wont insure a car if its going to cost me more than a grand. I live in a relatively high risk area as well! Have you tried bell? I usually spend half a day ringing round getting quotes for my car!

Where do you live mate? ^^

City centre manchester M1 postcode althoguh still waiting on my sodding parkign space at the moment being allocated to me so i have to park it on the street at moment.

If you know manchester live on whitworth street so basically about as high risk as it comes round here :/

The insurance on the C4 im not paying for though. I originally wanted a 182 but when i got insurance quotes nearly everyone was giving me massive £4000ish quote i went into endsliegh in the student union they couldnt get it under £3800.

Unlucky matey....i wouldn't pay 4k to insure a clio either.....your C4 is the 1.6 16v..same as the C2 VTR engine is it?

Yeah same engine 110bhp. Going for a remap as soon as its got the 1st 1000 mile service done. Which been told can give it up 12bhp more and 14lb ft.

Have to say thoguh compared to my 1.2 16v clio it feels so much more solid. C4 build quality is brilliant considering its a french car. got the VTR+ edition so 17" wheels etc all came standard. Just more comfortable than the clio was. But would still love a 172/182 just cant afford it so instead tryign to get my dad to buy one so i can borrow it...occasionally :D
