Just this minute got back from the Lakes, stayed in Ambleside, wont talk too much about the scenery etc as its a car forum. Some real money up in the lakes never seen so many astons, bentleys, jags, bmws and range rovers in the 2.5 days i was there. Walking down the street with missus and left her walking as i had to stop and drewl over these:

Also saw an amusing Police chase fail on the way to the Lakes where i was following a skyline in the outside lane at about 75-80 when we drove past a police car parked up at the side of the motorway hidden away. I pulled in and slowed down to around 70. As i looked back in the mirror the police car pulled down off its perch and slowly pulled onto the motorway working its way up to about 80-90 before putting the flashers on. It then flew past me and as i looked ahead the skyline was off. We soon caught the police up about 3-4 miles later...skylineless.
We reckoned they probably were waiting for the skyline as a stolen vehicle etc to go past. They obviously couldnt keep up in the skoda with the HUGE sirens on the top. Funny.
