Ben, that is nuts that is ! Didnt see a Cliosport sticker as I can remember you saying you wanted the car to be in showroom condition, original stickers, etc. Do you have a very small dink by your driver door ? I noticed it as I drove past ? Very very small, looks like someone opened their door onto it, it was in line with the lock on the rear panel by the door ?

PS I hope I have not spotted something you havent yet !

Get yourself some clear side repeators and silver indicator bulbs and itll be spot on. :D

Cheers Lee, it is on my background in work ! Keep looking at it all the time ! I have old people sitting around me who just dont appreciate them ! One guy just keeps talking about how good he thinks his Omega is !

Just looked at the pics, the clear repeaters make a big difference as do the bulbs :

I have been given some clear repeaters by a very generous friend so they will be going on when I see him next ! Gonna order myself some of those bulbs too !

I cannot wait to clean her on the weekend ! JEEEEEZAAAAAAZ, how sad am I !?!?! LOL !

It amazed me how such a small change can make such a noticable difference. I think I have jon_r to thank for me getting mine. He posted a before and after and that was it, I ordered them right away.

Aww, the car was just a few weeks old in that bottom picture. :oops:

You are right about that, it makes a real difference to the look of the car.

What is the model number for those bulbs ? Are they easy to fit ?

From Powerbulbs I just ordered two packs of Phillips Silver Vision bulbs, they send the correct ones and they also give you a pack of free blue vision side light bulbs.

The indicators are really easy to change, the sidelights are a bit of a pig unless you have small hands. Worth it though, as they have a nice white light compared to the yellow of the originals.

Mr Jim, now you know that you only ever see the back end of my car when we are playing PGR2 ! Dont try and make out it is any different ! I am telling you, the walls move in that game ! They jump out in front of my car ALL the time ! Hence the damage on my gorgeous flip paint Porsche 911 GT1 at the end of each and every race !

Those heat seeking missiles on the V6 are a b**ch to dodge, they must be optional extras, will phone Renault UK now to see if they are coming to this part of the world ! Hmmmmmmmmmm !

Hiya Dai

Yeah, Ive got a weeny dink in the offside rear panel, just before the door. You must have eyes that can magnifiy as no-one has ever noticed the only bad bit about the car! (Oh, and theres a weeny bit of the inevitable 16V/Willy arch rust :cry:, so Ill have that panel done soon and the ding taken out anyway).

Ive not got a Cliosport sticker on the car... though it might spoil the totally original Renault Cardiff dealer look. I used to have one on my old Valver under the bonnet of all places, so maybe Ill get one for the Willy at some stage.

Just fitted the original tape deck yesterday - its flipping crap, but so was the bad-boy head unit that was in there before. Now I just need to get rid of the door-bottom speakers and its as the Renault God intended! :D

Alright Ben ! I think I was just at the right angle to see the dink, it was very small but the car was so shiny that it stood out more than if it was dirty I think !

Sounds like you are going through a lot of hard work to get it back to standard, will look wicked when you are done if that is how you want it to look ! You got a wicked car there tho mate !

Maybe I will see you around the M4 soon, will be in my 172 this time tho !

Ben, anytime mate, I have raced the Williams at York, not sure how standard they were tho but they were well rapido !

paddy, it is great to be back mate ! Sent off my membership today so once I get that sticker on the back it will be like old times ! Got my first track day lined up too so my cherry will be popped ! LOL !

The car does look good, I am very happy with it ! Going to give it a damn good clean on the weekend ! (Weather permitting !)
