An old woman in a toyota celica just reversed straight into the side of me! passanger side rear panel is crumpled in and scratched! Not long had it back from the body shop having bodywork done after another crash, and now this has happened!
Ill get pics up when it stops raining!

make sure it goes through her insurance. All you have to do it call your own insurance and inform them of the accident but tell them its being dealt with by the other persons insurance. I was recently hit and it was all easily taken care of and no questions were asked about the mods to my Rep. The other parties assessor looked at the car and authorised it to be fixed. I was slightly worried incase id missed something that I havent declared, mainly because they will look for anything not to pay out! Anyway, even if your mods arent all declared then its none of the other parties insurances business..

Whatever you do dont let your own insurance company handle the claim or you will be screwed especially if you havent declared everything!

I dont have a clue how she didnt see me. or hear my exhaust! coz its quite loud, i was beeping my horn like mad aswel when i saw her coming towards me and i couldnt get into 1st quick enuff to pull away im soo gutted now tho, just got it lookin nearly to how i want it! gorra sort some stuff out now, may be dealt with in cash duno yet, iv got to ring her either later or tomorrow to sort something out and will take it down to the bodyshop i had the sport kit sprayed and fitted coz they done a crackin job and will get a quote for a rough price for the old woman to pay.

On a downer now tho lol

If the mods aren't declared I'd imagine the car will just get repaired back to standard (or the parts that are damaged will) if the other person is at fault.

I'll probably get abuse for this but I had a few undeclared mods on an old Escort and that got smashed in to but because it was the other person was to blame 100% I got paid out.

Guna take it to the bodyshop that its just come out of later to get a quote on how much it will be to repair and what kinda of damage has happened.

The reason I asked is because a mate of mine rear ended someone in his car which had an uprated gearbox plus some sporty exhaust (unclaimed) and he got a full payout on his fully comp insurance. Which is why I ask such a question about whether they're really going to check over your car, and I get you fussy lot going "OMG" "LOL!!!1one!"

Got a quote from a mate in a garage and said he would sort it all out for £300. So im trying to ring this woman constantly for 3days now but no answer.. so i leave a message telling her if she dosent get hold of me within a day ill have to let the police get hold of her instead. next morning all of a sudden decides to ring me.. by this time i had already told her insurance for her as she had not bothered telling them about it and informed mine so should hopefully be getting sorted soon
For some reason she didnt give me her home phone number :S
So i found out who she was through the internet and the phone number she gave me was a work number and she is some governor in a school. So i got the school's main number and rang it, they told me she is hardly ever there so they didnt know when i would be able 2 get hold of her...
Somethings sounded dodgy like she wanted to get out of this one
