Its probably part of the research/survey. Got a letter 3 weeks ago asking the samething, forgot to reply but JT seemed to think it normal when i asked.

Probably a 3rd party doing the research, ask what the company name is and check out their website

I had a similar thing a few weeks back at 9pm. Told him I dont have a car and not to call me again any evening.

Double checked garage doors after of course.

Scary sh*t, stuff like this.

Did anyone hear of that gang that were in cahoots with an insider at an insurance firm? Got loads of Scooby owners adresses, vehicle details etc and tracked their cars down. The easy targets nearly always got their cars nicked.

Apparently there was a garage up Manchester way that was doing something similar with high-end 4x4s..... selling them and then indirectly stealing them back. Obviously, none to bright as events started to be traced back to them, but dodgy all the same....

Might get them to send it all in writing to me, thatll prove how genuine it is.

Im only curious 1. because they phoned my work number and 2, cos the 172 cup isnt a current model anymore.

it might be to see what you have done to it in terms of mods.

As in the renaultsport forum, they seem to be very curious about what people have done to their cars.

Nothing suspicious. Weve employed a agency to do some research on Renaultsport owners. The agency is a highly reputable company and so that you have the minimum inconvenience, theyll come to your house in the evening. You get to give us 2 hours of your feedback and we pay you with a nice gift.

So how do we get onto this list?

My dealer is useless, and never sent my details off to RenaultUK for follow up calls etc. So hence I never even received the "free" accident pack with the camera etc that everyone else recieved :(

i had a phone call a couple of weeks ago they said i would get a free renault sport watch for 2 hours i my time, i just told them i was not intrested, i wouldnt be to bad if they told you first where they get all the info from i dont trust things like this IMO they should send a letter out first and then phone you up a week or so later to confirm.

good to see the spirit of cooperation is alive and kicking. I mean, what is two hours? Its not like its a VAT inspection, its a good chance to tell reno whats right and wrong about the cars you care about a lot and the dealers you dislike. Could result in improvements to the next generation Clio or reno dealers. Guys, if youre not communicating, youre not influencing. Ask them to conduct the interview down the pub, and youll swap the watch for them buying the drinks.

everyone wins.

They dont need renaultsport owners to tell them there cars are badly made and the dealership service stinks.

I think thats pretty common knowledge. Id guess its more to do with the development of the next gen of clio and renaultsport products, seeing as the uk is the largest market by some margin.

have u seen the RenaultSport watches? Some of them are really expensive, over a grand I think so it might be quite nice.

organise a big ClioSport meet and tell them to turn up to that, they will get sh*t loads of feedback, if they dont agree to that then just get a few local members to turn up to your house for when they arrive

personally if i was a 172/182 owner i would jump at the chance to tell them my thoughts, which would probably be along the lines of the poor reliability and big list of common faults with the cars

Seems strange that when Renault offer to come to you to ask about your experiences, some dont want to take part....
I will take part! I would love to tell them about all the problems ive had !!!!!
