Just Had De-Cat Fitted But it seems really strange sounding (quite tinny and raspy) i have a custom made decat pipe from (gray) and a ktec stealth cat back exhaust, now im unsure wheather its just because its a new sound and im not used to it, but its really raspy will the decat become deeper over time like it did when i had my exhaust fitted to start with. or will it stay like this even over time?

It will stay like that, might get a bit better but with a de-cat it will turn the note raspy

Agree mine is a bit raspy, unusual in sound but ive grown to like it.

Yes the noise is quite RAAASPY

But will change slightly with a few weeks of driving..

i 2nd that. i bet the decats just emphasising it.

could always meet up and ill give it a listen you rolny 5 mins away from me.

my heat shield also rattles like a t**t, that causes alot of noise at 4kish.

A new can will change sound as the baffles coke up but I wouldn't expect any difference with just a decat tbh.
