Just had mi valver Rolling Roaded

  20VT Clio & 9-5 HOT

at EP motorsport in Stoke! Its the first time its been RRd since the engines run in properly, and iv added a few other bits and bobs including k-tec manifold and CDA. Its not been setup or chipped yet though since the rebuild (cos im broke) so i think maybe a bit high, but.......

The guy said the power curve was excellent, ill try to scan the graph in if i can get the scanner working!

:D

fookin hell! what you had done to it? seems to be pulling quite a bit more power and torque over standard!

think the results were a bit high to be honest, the other valvers that were there were getting between 145 - 155bhp with mods inc chip, exhaust, decat etc! Dunno!

iv had cams, headwork, manifold etc, but was expecting about 155 ish.

bloody hell there good results, may be a bit too high me thinks. was there a renault rr day or something? because i drove past stoke today and there was a convoy of 5 turbos and some valvers.

mine seemed to be about bang on mate.

142.9 bhp @ 6753 and 136.1lb/ft @ 3406.

think there were some results that were a bit dubious and some that seemed about right.i wouldnt complain if i were you, the results look good on paper;):D

Mine seemed about right .magnex cat back exhaust, k tec decat, pbv, and pipercross filter. (downpipe leaking and a hole in the centre box of the magnex)

138bhp 119 lb ft torque.

They said the pbv needs tweaking alittle which should hopefully improve things, just need to save enough to book it in.

hmmmm i hope its right lol! if so im shocked! apparently the Rolling road was calibrated 3 weeks ago!

still you never know how acurate they really are, with catback exhaust, chip and ik, i got 127bhp at the wheels at one rolling road, then 99bhp at the wheels at another! only difference was a higher ambiant temperature

if it was calibrated correctly, which isnt hard, then it should be as accurate as an accurate thing........for wheel bhp that is.

worrying isnt it.

look i went to a Northampton motorsport with cliosport my car got 127.2 atw, which i believe is spot on!

now, this gave me 151.6 atf and 172s on the day were making 132 atw and 160 atf, now most people were upset by this, why? because there atf figure was lower than expected.

Then i get invited to PE and 172s were getting 170 atf, now all of a sudden everyone is happy:)

but do you know what they were getting atw?????????????

Let me tell u, exactley the same as Northampton Motorsport! LOL

happy customers are repeat customers, and happy customers are the ones that get told their cars has the most bhp.

Well ive just been on ocuk, and people from there have been to this same event with RSC, all quoting much higher figures than they have had from anywhere else!
