220 Trophy
Hi everyone
I ordered a RS 200 Cup yesterday, it won't arrive until probably mid-February, in which case I will probably wait until 1st March to collect it with the new reg.
Thought I would register on the site and get involved a bit before the car arrives.
The car is white with black Speedlines, GT spoiler and Recaros, I haven't gone for any luxuries other than AC as it's a 2nd car and will sit in the garage and be only used once every couple of weeks or so.
I have a long history of 'fast' cars, including a MK4 and then MK5 GTI, 350Z, 3.2 A3, Elise 135R, Cooper-S JCW etc (all tuned to various degrees), but about 6 months ago we (Mrs W & I) bought a diesel 4X4 as a 'family' car which truthfully is fantastic in every way other than offering any thrill of driving!!
I also have a Ducati Monster 1100S which my wife hates me going out on, so I've decided that as I've been lucky enough not to be involved in any accidents in the 2 years I've been riding I will do the honourable thing and sell the bike (and earn loads of brownie points!!).
Hence buying the Cup, am aiming to try and go on a track day once every month or so with it. I haven't been on any before other than a couple of corporate dos, one at Palmer Sport where I drove a Clio Racer which was fantastic and have definitely got the bug!
So hi to everyone and although I'm new to Clios will hopefully be able to pass-on some of my experience gained with other cars.
Thanks
Mark
