just ordered a milltek for my 182

Hello peeps, got in my car this morning and my exhaust has broken pretty much clean in half, needless to say that i have had to order a new one. I have gone for a milltek cat back and it should be here by thursday! didnt really want to do this just before christmas but hey ho. . . . . . . .im pretty bloody excited about it though! Will i have trouble fitting myself or shall i just pay a man to do it. and before anyone asks i didnt order the cat replacement pipe. . . . . . .yet

I did it with a mate, wasn't too bad of a job really. It was harder to get the original off than the Milltek on, so if yours has snapped it should be dead easy

Am i right in saying that you only get a downpipe and not a manifold as the manifolds at the rear of the engine?

I thought the full system was around 6-700?

thats right, no real need to get a full system, the front part of the exhaust tends not to rust as much.

oh no there is no cat inc in the price, the new exhaust starts from the original cat. i have just been reading about fitment and im a little worried about it, think im gonna need some new rubber hangers. . . .anyone in the colchester/ipswich area who wants to help me? there might be a beer in it !

Standard renault exhausts, what were they thinking?

Dont think anyone on here has lasted longer than 45,000

Have all the Renault Sports got double cat exhausts or is it just the phase 1's?

I doubt that would be cheap to replace, im sure i heard somewhere there £800 all in for the whole lot? f**k that!

Ph1 has the double, Ph2 i believe is single and 182 is definitely single. My standard exhaust fell off at 53k.

Not much point changing the manifold unless its a 182 mani onto a 172.
