Just ordered a set of Eagle F1 GS D3’s...



...for my (silver with no air-con) cup.

Hope I made the right choice...had a set on my old rs turbo and I remember them being pretty good.

Had a a sh*tty set of kuhmos on my vtr and that was the worst mistake I ever made with that car. I learned not to cut corners on essentials after that I tell you!

Anyone else run these tyres? Any comments on their all round performance and durability would be good.
 


I reckon Id covered a good 8 - 10k miles on mine and they were still fine, even with a bit of Santa Pod action.
 


6k on just plain old roads now i run a different car :) but i replaced them on the clio with rainsports they seemed to be lasting better and felt better too
 


Cant fault the GSD3s on my Cup. Running 205x45 on the backs.

Running Uniroyal Rainsports up front 195x45
 


Running 195/50/15 GSD3 on my 1.4 and they definately grip a helluva alot better than any other tyre ive come accross, much higher cornering speeds with them. Wear rate seems fine even with a few days at Crail as well.
 


ive got the eagle gsd2 i think, done bout 6k on them still plenty life in them, not really had a problem with them, just will be changing from 185/55/15 to 195/50/15 next time! cheaper lol
 


Got rainsports on all round after my nightmate with Toyos in the wet. Made a huge difference, very happy with them.
 


Ran 205/45 R16s Good Year F1 GS-D3 on my 206GTi, excellent tyres with plenty of feel and nice stiff sidewalls, wet weather grip is fantastic too.

Probably on a par with the Michelin Exalto 2s, although cant do a direct comparison as obviously theyre on a different car.
