K&n inbox filter for clio mk2

Hi, im looking to buy the inbox filter from k&n.
Im not looking to gain more hp, just to buy 1 filter and only oil it every service i do.
Because the genuine renault filter is very expensive in israel.
Should i stick with the original or the k&n will do the job?

The K&N sounds your best bet, just weigh up the cost per paper filter change against the K&N if you intend on keeping the car, probably best for your with regards to weather and sand dependant on when you drive the car, I've got one fitted and clean it once a year.

Well, original paper filter is about 25 pounds and the k&n + shipping to israel is 32.
Well i drive the car at the morning and evening back to home.
Israel has sandy weather but in my location its ok.
The k&n filters the air ok?

Received the filter few days ago, its great and the sound on 5000rpm+ is rawwrr.

just make sure to service it / clean it on a regular basis, and keep it oiled up

sandy dust conditions will have it clogged in no time

I would check it over every 3-4 months or so personally, then clean as and when you think you need to
