K-tec 1.6 stealth exhaust

i think after hearing a vid on here the other day i'm going to order one tomorrow.

anybody have any opinions who actually have this exhaust on whether they are easy to fit and are good quality etc?

I have one fitted to mine, its ok, possibly a bit raspy to be honest at times, and definitely isnt stealth. I fitted a new rear exhaust mount at same time so it isnt sitting low cos of worn mount or anything, it just isnt stealth.

looks good and seeing yours the other day made me plump for it!

i have done a little search on here so i think i may have a good way of keeping it up and "stealth"

yours is the sports one isnt it?

im gettin the loud supersports so will wait and see once its coked up what it sounds like

cool, quite interested in any method of keeping it a bit higher, going to try and have a play with it on my day off, possibly pack out the rubers on the rear mount.

thats what i'll be doing if it sits low

i'll get a vid of mine once fitted and try and compare the two exhausts as that was my main concern, what they sound like and what the difference is between the two notes.

well it turned up yesterday, got it fitted and love it

not very stealthy lol but will have a little play at the weekend, i'll try and get a vid up soon

got mine adjusted as high as it can, will get a pic later, had loads of problems sealing the flanges between the cat and the centre section, in the end got some loctite 5920 and it seems ok

Look forward to seeing a pic and if it is stealth, I cannot get mine hidden completely, another email off to K-Tec I think, as it is not stealth.
