k-tec carbon bonnet/painted?

Yeah you can paint them but i don't see the point carbon fibre weave look's awesome imo

Wanting the carbon weave to show on the inside and look OE on the outside.
Would i have to sand the lacquer off or just paint over it?

Well you're proper wasting your time here mate. The K-Tec bonnets are carbon layed over FRP so from the inside they just look like black plastic! haha.
As for painting them or whatever. I think the first thing to do is to get plenty of layers of decent clear lacquer on it at a bodyshop. My bonnet has gone to a horrible matt finish in places in less than a year. Not happy
Not heard of others having same problem though so could just be a 1 off.
