K Tec Carbon Bonnet Weight - Phase 1

I've just weighed the carbon bonnet and the steel phs1 bonnet to see the difference

Carbon: 8.3kgs
Steel: 12kgs

Just thought i'd post this for the peeps looking into losing weight from their Clios

is 3.7 kilos really worth £400 though , almost £100 per kilo , alloy bonnets are lighter than that arent they

But isn't the aluminium one in between those? And they were standard too I thought.

I'd imagine aluminium bonnets are hard to come by nowadays, it would be interesting to know how much they weigh

Very few alu bonnets left now.

I'd imagine that the standard bonnet with the skin taken out and aero catches wouldn't weigh much more than the carbon one?
