K-Tec: Carbon Fibre is coming!

We will soon have the first of our new range of carbon fibre products in stock which will include carbon bonnets, carbon engine covers, carbon spoilers, carbon splitters and carbon B pillar covers. Initially these parts we will be available for the Clio 2 Mk 1 and facelift models and will be made from 100% carbon fibre. If we get enough interest we will also be looking at carbon bonnets for the Clio 1 (16v style to fit all models) and the R5. Prices for the bonnets is expected to be around £350+vat and engine covers will be £99+vat (for 172/Cup). We will have more details in March when the new parts will be in stock.

Mine definitely needs a carbon bonnet the standard ones chipped to buggery and Ive had it sprayed twice in the last 2 and a half years!

Will it need to be lacquered?

Here is a pic of the final design engine cover for the 172/Cup. The only draw back is that you will have to take the cover off (4 bolts) to get to the oil filler cap.

I have seen the splitter, seems very subtle though. Any plants for a DTm style carbon splitter?

they are planning to make one for the 16V if there is enough interest! best bet is to get a petition going for all those valver owners that want one?
