K-tec decat

I bought a ph1 172 K-tec exhaust from BenR off here a few months ago. tried fitting it last night and i couldnt get the decat to fit to the manifold without it being in the way of the gear linkage. can anyone help?

not that i know of. but the angle of the manifold means that the decat has to be angled towards the gear linkage

Ive just bolted the decat to the manifold today and then when i tried to attach the centre section it became obvious that the exhaust isnt long enough?? Am i missing a piece or what...?

sounds like yours is a late ph1 with 2 lambda sensors, and the one your fitting only has 1 lambda hole.

are there 2 different ph1 exhausts?? If so i take it i need a new exhaust?

phs 2 has a longer CAT and a shorter centre section (not much in it)

pictures of parts required, you can buy spacers to fill the gap no bother
