Hmm i thoght you had to do that Black Foxm us that definitley right, if it is, im not prepared to wreck my 172 gille as im not 100% sure on it.

If its the stainless one with holes in u will have to cut the original.

why do u hav to cut it??the 172 grill just unclips out of the bumper

As I understand it you have to cut it to make room for the stainless as it attched to the top of the plastic grill.

adtmits dont cut that grill! il take it and happily give you mine to cut up???!
