Have been waiting since June for carbon splitter. Have been speaking to David and he says, yes next week, yeah itll be next week, hopefully this week coming, definately coming this week....

When is the KTEC sports cat being released?

Time for a bit of an update for you.

We have now fitted the carbon front splitter to our 172 and they will be going into production in around 2 weeks once the company making them has finnished building their new workshop.

We have the first 172/Cup sports cat waiting to go onto our car for rolling road testing. This should be done by the end of this month and then more details will be released.

The ramcharger kit we are not releasing for the 172 at the moment because we have not tested it fully. We compared it on a back to back test on the road with a new filter we fitted between the passenger side headlight and battery which connects to the throttle body with an alloy inlet pipe. With the new filter fitted the car pulled harder than with the ramcharger on. It also had a fantastic induction roar through the alloy pipe. We are hoping to RR test this at the same time as the de cat.

Sorry if we have kept some of you waiting for details but we have just havnt been able to get to a decent RR for the testing and we dont want to make false claims about the parts we are going to be supplying. We hope to get this done by the end of the month and update the details on our website as soon as we have the results.

Well when the airfilter/ramcharger comes out for the 172 as long as I dont loose power I will be getting one, and same goes for the sports cat (although I hope there would be an increase),
