K-Tec Servicing?

Hi all,

need to get my car serviced really soon. Anyone had a service done at K-Tec? How well did they do the job? etc...

K-Tec are good, david will look after you im sure.

the clever choice would be Rentech though... it may be in Pompey, but for me its well worth the 40min journey over there every time any works needed!

probably a damn sight cheaper than K-Tec too

Had my 12k service at K-Tec. Wasn't overly impressed tbh as I ended up having to make all contact to pick it up and ask if it was finished, as well as they put standard oil in when I assumed they would have followed the Renault directions and put in some good quality oil. Discussed this with them and they didn't budge, so I will probably be looking to go somewhere else for my next one.

i used rentech before rentech even existed! lol

Mike used to service my car on his dad's front lawn. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my car to be honest... he knows his way round them like the back of his hand! Only uses top quality oil as per renault directions etc. He's so good, even my Dad drives all the way over there in the laguna, and my Dad's as tight as a crabs arse!

easy to find, straight off Eastern Road by the BMW dealer!

LOL, sorry Davey - haven't edited my details. I'm split between Ferndown (near Bournemouth) and Oxford. Ferndown is family home, Ox is Uni. So in actual fact it was about 7 miles away from my place here in Ferndown. Sorry for the misleading info on location...

That is indeed mine. My dad has been driving it around a bit since I've not had it while at Uni this past Semester. Been hard going from driving the 182 to waiting for busses that never appear and have the acceleration of a snail! But back with it now, and boy does it feel good!

I'm not so sure that I've seen you though... maybe I'm not looking out hard enough.

Yeah I would imagine it is him, except I know he won't have been going cruising or anything (!) - think it has been used mostly for drive to/from work. But I may have to ask some questions now...
