Kenwood vs Pioneer

Whos the daddy? Generally as they go...i.e. speakers, subs, amps, etc, etc

I am a pioneer man myself dont no why just am.
But for speakers I have switched to MB Quarts.

subs...... rockford, kicker, jl
amps.......pheonix gold, genisis
headunit....becker, namikachi, blaupunk

I would avoid pioneer and kenwood for all but the most basic systems... personally i use all blaupunk Velocity stuff but the subs could be a little better.

well theres one simple fact.
a kenwood 10 disc changer fits perfectly in ya glove box. what more do u need?

I would also have to say Kenwood beats Pioneer. I agree almost entirely with Lukes list of recommended brands, but I must admit that I dont rate Blaupunkt. Alright as a factory fit jobbie on a Merc or VW, but I dont think it competes with the likes of Nakamichi, Kenwood, Rockford Fosgate, etc. Just my two-pence worth anyway!

I dont believe I have, is it good? I suppose my experience with Blaupunkt has really only been pre-99, so their recent ranges could be fantastic for all I know!
