Kestrel DAS-6 Rotary Polisher

i've heard pretty good things about it and tbh whats the alternative? the G220, which seems to be very hit or miss over whether you get a good one.

You also get 7.5% off :)

It's going to be great value for the money - will probably be as good as a G220. I think a few on DW have them and approve.

That's a Rotary - dangerous in the hands of a novice. Technically 'better' at correction, but you should go for a DA if it's your first machine, ideally.

Didn't notice, wouldn't get a rotary, would put holes i the car!

7.5% off, those words I do like to hear.

Just wondered if these were more reliable than the 220's as I've heard of a few being sent back.

Some more DA info for you;

1= 2500 opm
2= 3200 opm
3= 3900 opm
4= 4600 opm
5= 5500 opm
6= 6500 opm

Same speeds as the G220, although the G220 has a bit more power at 550w compared to the Kestrel at 500w.

Kestrel's come with a 1yr warranty - just like the G220. Kestrel also have a repair / service centre here in the UK.

Regards

Matt

That would be the thing that would make my mind up if I was buying today.

So, THE question, is it any good? Suitable for a beginner that just wants to get rid of some swirls etc?

Quite interested to find out about this one too cause I'm looking to get one, but have never used a polishing machine before so would the kestrel DAS-6 Sonus Kit Dual Action Machine Polisher kit on that page be any good?

Yer itll be fine.

As a beginner you might struggle with hollograms (sp?) though with it being a rotary but im sure youll soon learn.
