Keswick info

  Dirty E91

Going up to Keswick this coming weekend for a wedding and thought I would take in a few roads and the view while Im up there.

Anyone know of any decent roads I can have a blast on?

They have good roads but full of traffic mate.

If u come off at Kendal Junction 36 and follow the A591 through Windermere and Ambleside once your through Ambleside the roads get wider and easier for overtaking but leave plenty of time as it can get busy in Windermere and even worse in Ambleside.

You have to go up hardknock pass its one unique road you wont be able to go quick but it amazing first and second gear only if your lucky.

Theres tones of good road round there though best get out of the tourish area though as the roads can get a bit narow.

If you can miss the car ferry though ar windermear youll probably scrape the splitter I almost did on my car and its a standard dynamic.

Lock your doors :p

Hardnott Pass is pretty good. There arent really any bad roads.

Try this short run:

Keswick towards Cockermouth, At Braithwaite turn Left to Whinlatter pass, in to Loweswater (nice pub - Kirkstile Inn), Past Crummock To Buttermere, Over Honister, then back down the borrowdale valley to Keswick.

Wont take you very long. There will be lots of traffic.
