Battery for the normal key fob is a 'CR2032' (flat battery about the size of a 20p) and you can get them from the supermarket etc. The other side to the button just slides off, you might need to use a screwdriver to help it on it's way though.
no its not a 2032, no Renault apart from the new Laguna III uses a 2032
depends on the car but more than likely its a 1220, the key slides apart, dont prise it apart, if your having trouble pop a screwdriver into the hole where the key ring goes and use it like a lever to start it sliding apart then take it out and it should come apart easy
Changed the battery, turns out the fob is just dead. It seems to have lost its spring action so when you click the button, it doesnt click it just pushes down.
