Key fobs

Emergency- I've washed my key fob, (I left it in pants pocket when washed pants in machine).

No problems at first but now the key fob seems to be locking and unlocking the car constantly.

The little red light is flashing like mad on the key fob it's like the buttons being pressed all the time if ya get me???

Help please I don't even know how to open my key fob up!

I'm ok for a spare!

Sounds like something is shorting out in there. Remove the key ring bit, and the key slides apart. Usually tight, but the back just comes off

Just let it dry out, put in a bowl of dry rice covered up.

Remove the battery and leave the key, open, to dry out for a few hours.

Yep slid it open it's all dried now seems ok!

Was a b***ard to open like but all is well!
