Key / Lock replacement MK1

Need help folks, My old mark 1 Clio RSI as been off the road for few years now.

Im the process the keys have been lost god knows where.

I contacted Telford Renault to order a new blade (as i did this a few years bacK) They took my chasis number etc and said would call back.
Apparently they have been advised the cannot get a key cut without haveing a key to copy on the 1st place? cant really see this as they did exactley that 1st time around.

Al i need is the blade and fob itself. the car had an aftermarket Avital alarms on it wich i may also have to replace.

Any ideas or resolutions for this? They said id have to replace the locks themselves and looking at few hundred :S

cliospares sells full locks sets (ecu etc included) maybe give them a try

Yeah i clicked about that ;ast night. cant be so hard, found a ful set of locks on ebay for £25.00 incl the petrol cap in white sam eas mine so all good maybe.

Help much apreciated, il keek hold of that number.

Extremely easy to replace locks. done it on mine took about 10 min each on doors . 5 min on boot and 20 on ignition (min was bent)


got the full set with key from scrappy for £10

just ordered a set of ebay. I belive i just need to get the ignotion of as has osme sort of securuty bolt that breaks on it? oh well time wil tell. cheers
