Key scratches

Hi. I've been reading the detailing section, and keep hearing about this 'PC polisher' It was mentioned somewhere that stone chips can be sanded down with wet and dry, Meg scratch X and a pc polished, returning the area to new.... would this work on a vandal key scratch to my clio 172 wing? I think the scratch is down to the primer, and according to a bodyshop, you can 'get your finger nail into the paint layer'

Would wet & dry to the scratch area require a respray once complete? Or could the PC and scratch X bring the area up like new??

The way I look at it is if you have to have it sprayed anyway why not give it a go, if it doesn't work you've lost nothing

You can clean up wet sanding marks by hand, just will take lots longer than by machine.

I know this is extreme, but this took lots of passes with a PC and a cutting pad to sort.

I used some Farecla G3 compound to remove a fairly deep scratch. Got most of it out so you could barely notice it.

Did it by hand and worked up some massive mucles in my left wrist. Right wrist was fine for some weird reason...:quiet:
