Knob insert

My knob is as the pic below...



Can anyone tell me if the insert is replaceable. I would like a silver one or might even colour code to match the car, but not sure if this one comes out or is moulded in.

Any advice please.

also mine is in pretty solid. dont think ill be swapping mine any time soon, i wouldnt suggest sanding it down either

They are replaceable, and easy (ish) to get out. Put a flat screwdriver down the side of the insert and lift up. Really is a piece of p1&s to get out.
