Knockhill Road Legal Track Day 02-04-06

Went up to Knockhill with a couple of mates today for the first of their new style 'run what you brung' trackday, i.e. everything must be road legal.

I didn't go on track but have a feeling next time I will!!!

What a day, superb, Porsche 911 GT3 RS's, 60's 911 Carrera GT, 993 Turbo (my favourite!!!), Exiges galore, ITBD'd 306gti6, fast as fook wide arch Nova, Elises, a lovely Williams 1 on track, a silver 182 and a racing blue 182 cup and many more.

the 993 Turbo was immense, sounded sooooo good.

306gti6 on ITB's was fantastic too, guy was some driver and his gf was tidy too lol

Exiges sounded nice, 205Mi16 or 1.9 on TB's or something was doing ok too. Old Escort Mexico too.

Great day out, not bad for free entry!!!

£60 and you can take ur car on track for 4 hours!

bast**d i never new this was on!normally go to all the day but havn't got a schedule for this year yet.whens the next one of these?
never saw any porsches on the track before seen the 205 though their quick!the williams was that quite quick?guy paid a fortune for an engine from nick hill just had it set up and rev limiter upped etc what was it like?

the williams was modded for sure if even just chipped and zorst, was keeping up with the elises no problem.

Was significantly faster than the 182 I think, and standard v standard there wouldnt have been much in it (from past experience...lol)
