knocking 182

hello all

can anyone help??

when i start my 182 sometimes & only sometimes the engine knocks & splutters like a desiel for a few seconds.

has anyone got any ideas?

All depends, have you got any water in the cooling system.? When you try to adjust the temperature, can you hear the air vent move over.? and does the fan work.

When you select hot, the fan blows cold air over the heater matirx, which then transfers the heat into the cold air.

If the fan is not working, thats your issue.

If the selector is not working, thats your problem too.

take it bk to the dealer its under warranty for 3 years and tell them the crack thats the easiest way imo.
