Knocking from front nearside wheel when pulling off??

Hiya,
I've got a 2004 Clio 2.0 182. Every time I pull away / accelerate hard whilst moving, I get a single knocking crunch like sound coming from the front nearside wheel area. It sometimes happens when braking too. You can feel it slightly in the floor, but the steering feels fine and it doesn't happen whilst driving along normally. I've just had the track rod end replaced, any other ideas what it could be please? Thanks!

Likely to be the upper gearbox mount or the dogbone mount, or a combination of the 2. If the car is still on the original engine mounts there worth changing imo

Ah thanks for that, do you know how urgently I should get them changed? Will it do any serious damage if I leave it a while??

is the noise whem accelerating and braking?

then maybe the rear bolts of the front wishbone are a little lose...

Yeah it can be... depends what gear I'm in and how hard i brake/accelerate...
