Knocking on gearbox

As titled, my gearbox is knocking at idle and also a 3krpm it rattles quite a lot but only at them revs.. It just drove to Newcastle and back which from me is. 250 mile round trip. Also it doesn't have to be in gear it will still knock and rattle in neutral. Any thought people?

does it still knock and rattle with the clutch held in?

as above, sounds like either clutch release bearing or input shaft bearings

sounds like the upper mount has all rattled loose to me

Yea still rattles with clutch in..

I it is the mount is it an expensive repair? Does kinda sound as if something is loose to be honest
