knocking when accelerating

Car  Burgandy 174 sport t
at full pelt usually only in 1st gear or when accelerating on bumpy ground I can hear knocking, engine mount? which one?

exhaust?

does the gearstick ove excessivly when accelerating/ decelerating sharply? UIf so dogbone mount

If not do a visual inspection of the rubber in the other 2 mounts for cracking/deteriation

i've just had all the mounts done one my cup cos the downpipe was hitting the underside of the car when heavy accelerating in 1st and 2nd. After 3 sets arnold clarks got and uprated set from renault.

just had my dogbone done on my 1.4 and hardly any improvement with the amount the gear stick moves. What are prices on the othr 2 mounts from GSF or reno?
thanks
josh

it could be any of the 3. Have the dogbone mount checked, otherwise usually the top mount, least likely to be the one under the battery.

I get kncoks too, it's the snappy delivery. Even in 3rd to 4th on track.

I tihink mine is the top mounts on the suspension.

I'm getting exactly the same problem, gonna get the engine mounts looked at next week and take it from there. Sound like uprated mounts might be the way forward, deamon tweaks seem to do an uprated set for about £37 that are advertised to solve this problem.

Ill post here when I have any results... or not...
