Koni adjustable shocks

  PH1 172 Sport
No there the same I got mine from Larkspeed as they were the cheapest place I could get them from.

Actually, just reading it again, is that price stated per shock or do you get the pair for that price? £123 for two front shocks and £105 for two rear shocks does seem very cheap.

The prices are for one shock I think! So its £456 for a set which is not half of £500?

^^s**t you beat me to it!!!!

usually priced per shock mate. Venom motorsport are pretty cheap and they are local ish

they are £456 for the kit. I think it works out cheaper buying it as the kit than just as dampers. Just sell the springs and it'll make it cheaper again.

Yeah, works out £456 to buy the shocks individually and £445 if you buy the kit with springs.

Not looking to do anything soon though, got the dreaded car tax to pay at the end of this month :dead:

No, I'll use them with my Sportlines, suppose to be one of the best set ups for road use. That's what JB was running on the LadyBower meet.

Have you bought your Konigsports brand new?

Used to have these on my old lesser powered clio and got to admit they were very good!best money i ever spent, think they were like £350 for a 1.4 but were immense had to have them specially made as my shocks were rare or something!

Definitely gonna look into these for the 172 as coilovers seem very harsh!

Am indeed! My car is mainly a B road hero, and i think *sometimes* the billies are too track focused. They are very refined/controlled, but i think where i drive (Welsh borders) i need a more supple/complient set up........ I am toying with these or KW's, but i think they could be too much £££ as i'll never track it tbh

Mine is used for pretty much the same really and funnily enough I've been driving around North Wales today and the Sportlines seemed to do their job well today.

When I was running Avo Coilovers on a FRP'd zetec-s it struggled abit with bumpy B-roads, it had a habit of bouncing alot and causing the back end to step out, that's another reason why I'm looking at alternatives to coilovers for the Cup.
