KTEC 182 LOOK EXHAUST...

Has anyone ever bought one of these? seem quite pricey, but then I would say that as I dont have a clue about exhausts and what they are worth!

My dad suggested it... and I like it, but it was never my intention to create a perfect replica as basically I feel its a complete waste of money.. though im tempted with this..

Does anyone know of anywhere that I could get one similar made up for less?

its just a standard MK2 PH2 back bumper and exhaust.. Though I would change the bumper to one from a 182 with the cut outs if I decided to get that exhaust.. though to be honest think i'll try and get it made local.. everything at Ktec costs a fortune!

I think the car they show in the pics with it fitted looks awful with the standard bumper!

that last part is what I was going to say. If you have an standard rear bumper i'd leave it tbh.

Ive got the 182 look exhaust from ktec, sounds brilliant with decat but it dusnt suit it standard so definately need a 1*2 bumper.

Right, I got a 182 rear bumper on ebay today...! very happy! just to check...will this fit my 2001 dynamique ok?

what would people advise I do..
A: should I buy the 182 lookalike exhaust (pic below) or
B: just fill in the cut outs from the twin exhausts on the new bumper and leave my standard exhaust fitted?

Ktec is expensive so can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere that also sells replica 182 exhausts..like the one in the pic below or somewhere that could make me one:

mate i contacted k tec about that exhaust and the distance between the tailpipes isnt the same as on the 182 bumper, so you would either need to modify the exhaust or the bumper. its annoying as im in the same boat as you. for now im going to smooth out the cut outs and then decide about exhausts later.

i also enquired about a custom from longlife exhausts (i think) they quoted me £400 and i would loose the spare wheel as the exhaust would run through the wheel well

thats just rubbish, why bother making it then!! ive a place local to me that makes them...going to go and see what they would charge, and also bring them the bumper so it fits perfectly! there must be a way around this!
