ktec cat + dastek

hi

do you need to fit the cat and tailpipe before the dastek is setup? also does adding a new cat like the ktec invalidate my warranty? i know i will still pass MOT and apparently give 7bhp upgrade. has anyone ever tried it, does this seem possible? i know 10bhp is poss from totally removing cat so a sports one could push 7bhp?

Yes, you need to fit any mods to the car before the Dastek is fitted and setup, or youll just have to get it back on the rollers and setup again afterwards...

The sports cat may well be MOT friendly and "might" be ok for your warranty, but the Dastek will soon invalidate your warranty and its not like you can hide it either!
