anyone know anything about this?

my mate wants to get one for his 172 and he just wanted to know if they are actually worth it?!

thats what I was thinking, but he was quite adamant that they offered a silenced and unsilenced decat for the 172?

i think he was looking under the wrong section mate i know they def do one for mark 1 clio, but pretty sure they dont for 172, as yet

yeah ur right they dont! wrong section for sure, its the sports cat they do!

go to motorsportworld.co.uk mate and you can select the janspeed sports or full decat for alot cheaper than ktecs...i think the ktec one is the same janspeed one

well k-tec do a decat for the mk1 172 with the single lamba sensor but not the mk2172

Has anyone fitted a decat to a mk2 172?

Get a few cars in now and again with the management light on caused by cat failure, the downstream oxy sensor give incorrect readings if the cat has buggered up.

So if you fitted a de-cat then surely on the Mk2 the light would come on as the ecu detects a failure of cat operation.

Anyone had this?
