kTech stealth fitting issue

Not a problem as such, such an irritation ... the backbox keeps dropping. Not due to the mount being knackered, but because the join between the back box & centre section keeps twisting around; subsequently dropping the box.

Any ideas, its clamped properly using 2 very tight clamps, but over the course of a week or so it twists and drops .... seems daft that the rear box only has one mount as well, any way i can fit another one like on my old 106 - may help the sagging issue.

Ta :)

Mine kept doing this... make sure the rubber hangar on the centre section is stretched with the exhaust in its normal position...that might mean you have to undo the clamp and twist the centre section. It may also be worth bodging up the rear hangar as they are very weak.

Try pasting the join area before fitting together make sure the pipeworks not on to far or not on enough (rear beam clearance) and that its far enough away from rear bumper so as not to burn it. Try a prospeed rear mount possibly heard this helps stop the rear box moving so much + new rubber on centre section wth a cable tie arround the centre of the rubber to raise the centre up slightly (makes centre section rubber look like a number 8)?

Take it to a garage and just put a tack on the joint. I had to do it with my Prospeed. Just grind the tack off if you ever need to remove it.
