KTR FAST ROAD/RACE BIG BRAKE KIT

if you want brakes you want tarox drilld and groved discs with matching pads if you ring tarox they will give you the part number and dot 5 fluid you will have to drain the old fluid ive done it on my 172 mk 2 and my 20v bravo to many people think a big zorst will do all you want but with these brakes you can leave it late

Better value than Tarox, are http://www.wilwood.comWilwood brakes, available from http://www.raldes.comRally Design.

My brother has drilled and grooved disks, 4 pot callipers, competition pads and Dot 5.1 fluid, though Castrol SRF DOT 4 (£9.52 vs £45.04)!!! is much cheaper and exceeds DOT 5.1 standard. He brakes far closer to the apex than I do, and are very resistant to fade. (around £600 for everything at the front). Going to get some for my 172 early next year.

Thanks for the tips but Id like to know whether the K-tec product is good, since this week Im gonna order it.

It doesnt cost much and I personaly think that it will be a good solution...

K-tecs site seems to be down at the mo but im assuming its the kit with the caliper extender brackets and bigger discs as oppossed to an entire new kit (I.e. callipers etc)?

if it is then i had that kit on my megane...excellent value and makes an incredible difference - go for it! The only complaint that i had was the fitting wasnt the best but this was probably due to the fact that my car wasnt listed for fitting - apparently it could be made to fit tho......

No you need to remove some http:// s">http:// s on the link he posted.

I like the look of that k-tec kit, caliper relocation brackets are benefical..but i would like a go in a demo car first. Its probably worth upgrading your hoses too.
