KTR SHORT THROW QUICKSHIFT GEARLEVER

  Pink & Blue 182, JDM DC2

So recommended for my Cup?

Tom do you have a picture of it fitted please mate?

Yup, got mine yonks and yonks ago, and still think its between that and the eibach springs as to which is best value for money mod Ive done.

Lovin it, apart from in the dead of winter when the whole thing get just too cold to touch for long periods - but then you just learn to shift even quicker ;)

ditto on the cold thing! it was freezin the other nite!!! had to use my sleeve at first to change gear.

And Tom, its not the main lever but the base that it goes in that can be upsode down.

In the other thread it says its easy to fit as long as its not a mk1 172.Was thinking of getting one for my mk1 but whats the problem.

remove heatsheilds, unbolt linkage, remove circlip from underneath and remove gearstick from underneath.

Would the quickshifter wear out the clutch faster? Just to cfm with you guys, the Ktec one is fits the mk1 172 perfect?

i wouldnt think so, cos you havent gotta move the stick as far forward/or as far back as the std one, You could just move your seat to compensate??
