KTR Stealth Fitting

I had a KTR Stealth fitted by the local garage last week, I have just noticed that after my first period of sustained driving (180 mile round trip ) That it has melted away part of the bumper. I am thinking that this is the garage's fault for fitting it to close the the bumper but as i bought it 2nd hand am unsure that if i had bought new would it have come with a heat sheald to prevent this ?? I take it all who have a stealth system fitted have not had this problem. What do i do now, New bumper of do i file the melted away and wet and dry to a smooth finish ?? Is there anything i can buy to prevent this spreading ?

not imediately..but it is at the moment as there is a small amount of black melted plastic forming drips....

Probably the bad fit not the fitting, the flanges are completely wrong on a lot of them.

What should i do now ? It it easy to file the damage away and tidy it up ?

Geoff aka Essex_Lads_Bro had the same problem, I'm not sure if removing the lip on the cat actually helped his or not, certainly made it fit correctly though.

Mine's been fine, tho it's miles away from the bumper for that exact reason!

Mine is still sitting on the floor waiting to be fitted! i'll tell my boyfriend to not put it to close to the bumper, dont want any more expense.
