KW V2 top mount issues

I currently have kw v2 suspension with the old gold k-tec top mounts, but the garage have reported back that the bearings are seized.
I was under the impression kw v2s were compatible with the standard top mounts but the garage have said they don't fit, is this the case?
Or, will the new bearing kits for the new style top mounts fit the old gold style ones?
Hopefully won't have to fork out for new solid mounts!

I've got V1's on standard top mounts and they're fine if that's any help?

I have the KW Clubsports, and on two occasions, have had the top nut slacking,causing a knocking of the suspension. Easily fixed, tighten the nut back up. Anyone else had this?.
